​Located on a 26-acre ranch in northern California, this greenhouse is designed to grow food and produce energy. A glass roof with integrated solar panels provides energy to operate systems within the greenhouse which are programmed to respond to varying swings in daily and seasonal changes. A geothermal system for heating and cooling compliments the sustainability goals of the project. Designed with a heavy timber structure, the greenhouse is a study in local resources and an approach to living in concert with your surrounds.
