Our Process
Each project begins by listening to our clients. We believe that each project is a story and every character has something to add. We will figure out your project’s unique goal and design towards achieving it. Initial design presentations between us and our clients set the scene for later more detailed work which focuses on technical aspects of construction and execution. We work closely with our clients to tailor each project not only to their design goals, but to the schedule and budgetary guidelines as well. We embrace the whole process, from very early sketches to producing highly detailed drawings to inform the smooth execution of your project.

Wayne Erb
Registered Architect - California / New York
Co-Founder
Wayne grew up in Raleigh, North Carolina, where his father’s work as a carpenter sparked his early interest in architecture, particularly in the creation of regionalist homes. This hands-on exposure led Wayne to pursue a Master of Architecture from Pratt Institute’s Graduate School of Architecture and Urban Design in New York City.
While working in New York, Wayne gained extensive experience on large-scale residential projects at ODA and Handel Architects, where he met his future business partner, Moshe. His journey brought him to San Francisco, where he contributed to high-profile residential projects at Ro Rockett Design, further honing his architectural expertise. In 2023, Wayne co-founded Porter & Erb Architects.
When he isn't collaborating with Moshe on projects, Wayne can be found at the Clement Street Farmers Market or surfing with Moshe at Ocean Beach.
