In this remodel of a 1980s cottage home we tailored a series of new informal spaces along existing formal axes. The addition strikes a clear line between old and new and creates a connected kitchen, dining and outdoor space tailored to the client's desires. Grounded in earthen materials and palette with a tailored simplicity, the new spaces create a tranquil environment from which to enjoy the  equestrian community from which it is located.
